Get ready to have ‘Koffee with Karan’ again from February 11

STAR has announced the return of Karan Johar on television with his weekly celebrity chat show ‘Koffee with Karan’. Starting February 11, 2007, the season of the show would be simulcast on STAR One as well as STAR World.

Sameer Nair, CEO, STAR Entertainment India, said, “‘Koffee with Karan’ has been one of the most popular shows that has just the right mix of fun and excitement coupled with Karan’s own unique style. The show became a topic for coffee table discussions for everyone across the nation and we are delighted to have it back. Given the huge popularity of the show, for the first time, the show will be aired across our two channels –STAR One and STAR World.”

The show’s celebrity anchor, Johar said, “It’s great to be back. I have tried to make it more irreverent, more tongue-in-cheek, more fun… and I am sure everyone will have fun watching it.”

The show, produced by SOL, will feature some ‘celeb-combos’ like Kajol, Rani and Shah Rukh, Priyanka and Hrithik, Sanjay Dutt and Priya Dutt, Shahid, Kareena and Karishma, and John and Bipasha, to name a few.


The popular channel from the Viacom18 ‘s umbrella MTV Indies, which aired music by independent artistes, was replaced by MTV Beats, a 24x7 Hindi music channel in 2016
