GEC Watch: Star Plus TVRs soar on back of IIFA ratings

Star Plus gained 29 points as per the TAM figures taking its TVRs to 345 from the previous week’s ratings of 316. The IIFA awards ceremony ratings of 4.3 buoyed the channel’s ratings. Meanwhile, Colors slid marginally by 1 point to 266.

Zee TV too shed 12 points from 220 last week to 208 TVR this week. Sony lost 3 points recording a TVR of 190 this week, as against 193 TVR in the previous week.

Placed fifth is SAB, which gained 1 point to record a TVR of 125. The recent weeks have seen the channel launch a few new properties.

Imagine and Star One have both seen gains. While Imagine’s TVR stands at 71, a gain of 5 points, Star One was up 1 point at 37. Sahara One, on the other hand, lost 3 points to record a TVR of 30.
