Focus TV looking to prune regional portfolio

Focus TV is likely to shut down their Bangla and Assamese channels indicate industry insiders; however sources also maintain that Focus TV  maybe looking to sell these channels, to a national news TV player. There has been no confirmation on this yet.

Focus TV has also been in the news this week for the appointment of veteran journalist Sandeep Bamzai joining as News Editor.
