Flashed Yesterday: TV Today boosts new plans with three top recruitments

As a part of the growth agenda, TV Today Network, the leading news network announced three senior level hirings today. To raise the bar and to chart the new growth strategy, these inductions have happened across ad sales, international distribution and HR divisions

Vikram Das joins as General Manager – International Distribution, Rahul Kumar Shaw is the new Vice President – Ad Sales Headlines Today, and Devleena Majumder joins in the capacity of General Manager – HR.

Joy Chakraborthy, CEO TV Today Network expects the new team to script a rapid growth and to take TV Today Network to newer heights. Confirming the appointments, he said, “We are thrilled to add Rahul, Vikram and Devleena to an existing very strong team at the TV Today network. With their strong skill sets in the three core functions, the network will be strategically placed to consolidate and grow the leadership position. The industry is competitive and only solid planning and speed of execution will win”

Rahul Kumar Shaw comes with rich experience in ad sales & has worked in organisations such as ZEEL, INX News Pvt Ltd., NDTV Imagine Pvt. Ltd., Star India Pvt. Ltd, Set India Pvt Ltd., Turner International Pvt. Ltd., & Bennett Coleman & Co. Ltd. Rahul will be responsible for Headlines Today’s sales and will be reporting into Rajnish Rikhy Senior Vice President - Ad Sales & Business Head - Headlines Today.

Devleena Majumder joins as General Manager – HR. Prior to this assignment, she has a vast experience across organizations such as Viacom 18, ZEN Ltd (TOI Group), ICICI Prudential Life Insurance, IBM Daksh, Wipro Spectramind & Transworld Group of Companies. Devleena will be responsible for the human resource function at the leading news network.

Vikram Das joins in the capacity of General Manager – International Distribution. He comes with very successful tenures across organizations such as Neo Sports Broadcast Pvt. Ltd, Star Limited – Dubai, U.A.E & ABN Amro Bank, Dubai. Vikram will head the international distribution of TV Today Network.

Both Devleena and Vikram will report to the CEO, Joy Chakraborthy
