First 24-hour Tamil spiritual channel Brindavan goes on-air

The Tamil television space has yet another channel. A 24-hour spiritual channel ‘Brindavan Television’ was launched recently. The channel, which will telecast religious programmes round the clock, including mythological serials and movies, is the first 24-hour spiritual channel in the Tamil television space.

Headquartered in Chennai, Brindavan Television has branches in Mumbai and New Delhi. The aim of the channel is to spread world peace, said a spokesperson of the channel.

Brindavan Television would feature poojas, lectures, astrology, yoga, meditation, history of various places of worship, mythological stories, ‘vaastu shastra’ and properties of gemstones, as also temple listings and announcements of important festivals.
