Filmy launches on-ground musical initiative ‘Live & Filmy’

Filmy has announced the launch of ‘Live & Filmy’, a series of on-ground viewer connect musical extravaganzas. The first of the series, featuring Daler Mehndi, Sukhvinder Singh and Tanushree Dutta, is scheduled for January 27, 2007.

Ashutosh, Business Head, Filmy, said, “Filmy has always strived to deliver the best with various initiatives to our viewers. ‘Live & Filmy’ is a unique one of its kind initiative by the channel, which will have Daler and Sukhwinder performing together for the first time. This is yet another endeavour from Filmy towards providing entertainment content to its viewers.”

In the past, Filmy has presented various initiatives like the Filmy Stock Exchange – India’s first virtual exchange, trading Bollywood stars. Some other shows on the channel include ‘Firangi Filmy’, ‘Rokkky’s 99’, ‘Aaj Ki Filmy Khabar’, ‘Meri Bhains Ko Anda Kyon Maara’, ‘Filmy Hot Break’, and ‘Aaj Ki Filmy Khabar’, besides exclusive interviews with industry stalwarts.


Kranti Gada joined the family business at Shemaroo in 2006 after a successful stint of over two years in marketing at Pepsi Co. She has been associated with the company for 12 years.
