Fakt Marathi viewership zooms 38% on 'Slambook' premiere; Filmfare Awards South 2016 takes slot up 54%

Viewership for Marathi movie movie channel Fakt Marathi improved 38 percent on the back of the world television premiere of the blockbuster ‘Slambook’, according to the ratings for week 32 released by BARC.

Also, the world television premiere of ‘Miruthan’ helped Sun TV’s viewership grow 20 percent. The telecast of ‘63rd Filmfare Awards South 2016’ on Star Vijay took the slot up by 54 percent. Meanwhile, the first episode of Nat Geo Wild’s ‘Elephant Week’ improved the channel’s viewership by 72 percent.

Detailed report:

The world television premiere of ‘Slambook’ on Fakt Marathi improved the viewership of the channel by 38 percent. The channel witnessed 168 impressions ‘000s in week 32 as against 122 impressions ‘000s in the previous four weeks’ average.

Jeyam Ravi’s 2016 blockbuster ‘Miruthan’ telecast on Sun TV improved the Sunday viewership of the channel. The previous four weeks average ratings which were 7499 impressions ‘000s rose to 9005 impressions ‘000s.

Likewise, the ‘63rd Filmfare Awards South 2016’ telecast on Star Vijay witnessed 2063 impressions ‘000s compared to 1336 impressions ‘000s in the previous four weeks’ average.

Meanwhile, the first episode of Nat Geo Wild’s ‘Elephant Week’ improved the channel’s viewership by 72 percent. Ratings for the channel which clocked 159 impressions ‘000s in the previous four weeks’ average grew to 274 impressions ‘000s in week 32.
