English movie channels line up romantic hits and more for Valentine's Day

The stage is all set for the best of Hollywood's romantic hits on Valentine's Day. The English movie channels, Star Movies, HBO and ZMZ, have lined up the love stories throughout the day on February 14, targeting diverse age groups.

ZMZ calls it the 'Love Bug Festival' and will be showing Prince of Tides at 11 am, Wedding Planner at 6:30 pm, and Laws Of Attraction at 9 pm. ZMZ is starting the celebrations a day earlier. They are showing Robinhood The Prince of Thieves on February 13 at 9 pm followed by Sleepless in Seattle at 11pm.

Asked why ZMZ is starting the celebrations a day earlier, Ajay Trigunayat, Business Head, ZMZ, said, "With our movies starting a day earlier we are trying to say, that let the love bug bite you a day earlier. Our movies will target not only the younger generation but also the elders."

Star Movies will be hosting a watch-and-win contest, 'Friendz Forever' during the airing of their special movies. They are showing Mad Love at 10.15 am, Alex and Emma at 12.10 pm and Shakespeare In Love at 14.05 pm. During the movie a 'love bug' will flash on screen and viewers will have to spot how many times the bug flashes and SMS their answers to 7827. The person who gets closest to the answer will win a Dream Date with their valentine; one winner each will be selected from Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore. Star Movies will also show Sleepless in Seattle at 9 pm.

HBO is beginning their celebrations at 7 in the morning with My Best Friend's Wedding. The other movies during the day will be Only You, Message In A Bottle, How To Lose A Guy in 10 Days and America's Sweetheart.
