Discovery channel has recorded the highest viewership amongst all international channels according to the TAM viewership data for the last 13 weeks. The channel has taken a lead over channels like STAR Movies, HBO, MTV, National Geographic, CNBC TV18 and NDTV 24x7, and has garnered a 12 per cent channel share (CS15+ AB, All India, Week 27-39, 7.00 am to 11.59 pm).

The Woman’s Hour Band has worked very well for the channel, which has experienced 75 per cent growth in viewership (Source TAM: CS 15+ AB, All India, Week 13-39, 12.00 pm to 1.00 pm, all days). Targeted at the women audience, this one-hour week-day slot presents programmes on a variety of subjects – from celebrating woman achievers to mother-child relationships to health and fitness.
