DID L’il Masters scores for Zee

Zee TV’s non-fiction show DID L’il Masters scored an all-season high with a rating of 7.5 TVR in week 32’12. According to an official release, this makes it the highest rated television episode across all Hindi GECs in the year 2012.

The episode which scored the rating of 7.5 TVR saw superstars Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif’s film Ek Tha Tiger’s pre-launch promotions.

The episode scooped up an even higher rating of 7.7 TVR across digital households in the HSM. (Source – TAM Wk 32'12 ratings)

Mumbai viewership for the episode scaled 11.6 TVR. TAM Week 32’12 ratings has Zee TV racing past Star Plus (227 GRPs) in the non-film/events GRPs race with a rating of 230 GRPs. The channel is number one in primetime with 119 GRPs, shared the release.

Zee TV has strengthened its position in the weekend primetime slot and rules the roost with 61 GRPs. The channel shares the number one position with Star Plus (Mon-Fri, 1200 - 1600 hrs) with 28 GRPs each. Zee TV stands at number two in the Hindi GEC space with 247 GRPs.

Commenting on the sucess of the show, Ajay Bhalwankar, Head – Content, Hindi GECs, ZEEL said, “We are absolutely overwhelmed at the sheer hysteria the entire season of ‘DID L’il Masters’ has generated. The show has enjoyed a strong and consistent viewership all through its course. This episode scaling an all-season high of 7.5 TVR reiterates that the right setting, the right mood, the most talented, adorable kids of India coupled with Salman Khan results in nothing short of an explosion of entertainment.”

The contestants of season two of ‘DID L’il Masters’ will now lock horns with the season one contestants in a dance challenge called ‘Dance Ke Superkids’. The reality show will be judged by Farah Khan, Geeta Kapur and Marzi Pestonji.
