Danish Khan heads to Channel V

After a stint of ten years, Danish Khan has put in his papers as the Vice President and Head of Marketing of Sony Entertainment Television. He is currently serving his notice period with the company.

According to industry sources, Khan is expected to join Channel V. While Khan could not be contacted at the time of filing this report, sources have confirmed the development to exchange4media.

Khan had taken on the role of strategic planning and marketing at Sony Entertainment Television in 2008. He led a major revamp in programming content at Sony in 2009 to keep the channel in tune with the times.

He is a sociology graduate with a postgraduate degree in management and a major in marketing. Khan has also worked with Koshika Telecom and Grey Worldwide. He joined SET in 2002.
