CVS Sharma joins Star TV as Head of Network Digital Marketing

CVS Sharma aka Venke has joined Star TV. According to highly placed sources, he has been brought on board to lead Network Digital Marketing at Star TV. In his role, Venke will be responsible for developing and leading the Digital Marketing mandate for STAR India.

Sharma was the Executive Director and Head of Digital at Leo Burnett Worldwide and quit from the agency’s Indonesia office earlier this month. Sharma had joined the Leo Burnett Network as the head of Arch Worldwide and soon was promoted as the Executive Director and Head of Digital at the agency’s Indonesia office.

Sharma will operate from Star India’s Mumbai office. He has more than 16 years of experience in the digital media space and has worked with renowned agencies such as Arc Worldwide and Tribal DDB. Neither Sharma nor Star TV officials were available for confirmation at the time of filing the report.
