CTH to launch Rewind Networks’ HITS in Thailand

CTH and Rewind Networks announced the launch of HITS in Thailand, which will go live on Thursday October 1st, 2015. “We are very pleased to be the FIRST in Thailand to launch HITS” Mr. Amarit Sukhavanij, CEO of CTH, said, “The launch of HITS Channel proves our commitment to provide the best viewing experience and high-quality content, which we guarantee to our subscribers. Everyone in the family is sure to love and laugh along with series such as Diff’rent Strokes, Happy Days, TAXI and The Wonder Years. Iconic shows like MacGyver, The A-Team, X-Files and many more will definitely be a hit among every generation of Thai viewers.”

Viewers will also be able to enjoy HITS via live simulcast streaming on CTH Everywhere, available across multiple screens and devices. In addition, CTH subscribers will be given access to these shows on the standalone HITS TV app as well as hitstv.com. HITS’ selection of multi-award winning series brings the greatest stories and famous characters to a new generation of TV viewers whilst breathing new life into iconic shows. Ratings successes in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and other markets have proven that HITS’ curation of these awesome shows resonate with viewers in the region. The portfolio of HITS’ shows launched the careers of A-list stars including Robin Williams in Mork & Mindy and Jerry Seinfeld from Seinfeld. Other shows such as MacGyver, M*A*S*H and The XFiles reinvented their genres. The launch of the channel on CTH coincides with the debut of yet another hit series - Airwolf on HITS.
