Colors' India's Got Talent Episode 1 catapults slot by 24%

In week 18 (30 April-6 May, 2016) of the BARC Ratings, ‘WWE Specials 2016 Payback’ took the slot up many fold.

Also the first episode of ‘India’s Got Talent’ resulted in the rise of ratings of the slot.

The telecast of Badminton Asia Championships 2016 Live – Final on Ten 1 fuelled hike in the ratings of the channel.

Detailed report as below -

‘WWE Specials 2016 Payback’ took Monday18:00 – 21:58 of Ten 1 slot up by 73 times. The slot garnered 3,489 impressions in week 18 which were 48 in week 17.

The telecast of Badminton Asia Championships 2016 Live – Final on Ten 1on Sunday12:00 noon – 18:04pm took the slot up by 68 per cent. The impressions of the slot rose to 47 in week 18 which were 28 in week 17.

Colors aired the first episode of ‘India’s Got Talent’ on Saturday from21:00pm - 22:21pm which took the slot up by 24 per cent. The impressions of the slot rose to 7,190 in week 18 which was 5,780 in the previous 13 weeks.

The Hindi News genre saw spike in the ratings as a result of live coverage of Prime Minister’s speech from Ballia on Sunday from 12:00 noon - 13:00pm. The impressions of channels like DD News saw a hike from 7 in week 17 to 243 in week 18. The impressions of IBN7 rose to 133 in week 18 from 37 in week 17. Aaj Tak also experienced a hike in the ratings from 196 in week 17 to 287 in week 18. ABP News rose to 157 in week 18 which were 78 in week 17.

As far as the Hindi GECs are concerned, Colors acquired the no. 1 position followed by Star Plus at no. 2 and Zee TV at no. 3. Zee TV gained back due to programs like ‘Kaala Teeka Mahasaptah’,  ‘Jamai Raja – Season 2 and twist in the plot of ‘Tashan E Ishq’.

Zee Anmol witnessed a gain on Sunday, largely driven by the movie ‘Ganga Jamuna Saraswathi’.
