CNBC to start  'The Appointment' series with Bill Gates

CNBC's guest for the first episode of The Appointment series will be William Henry Gates III, the Founder, Chairman and Chief Software Architect of Microsoft Corporation.

As reported by exchange4media earlier, The Appointment series is a part of the ongoing endeavour at CNBC India to increase its viewership base as well as the time spent with the channel.

The soon to be launched programme will feature in-depth conversations with the who's who of the world's intelligentsia, capturing the visions and ideas of these well-known names. The host for the series is Raghav Behl. Each episode would be in two parts to be aired on two consecutive days.

The series would claimedly have 'insightful dialogues that will attempt to focus on critical issues that have never been touched upon before and bring to the fore dimensions of these eminent personalities that were hitherto uncharted'.

The sponsors for the series are Veronica Industries, Samsung, Sharekhan and Plast India Foundation.
