Bindass returns with second season of Halla Bol

Bindass, India's home grown youth entertainment brand that mirrors the lives and aspirations of young India, is all set to return with the series – Halla Bol. After inspiring Indian youth in its first season, the channel will attempt to continue to empower women with a second inning of the show. Staying true to its philosophy of being an enabler of purposive action, this season will feature inspiring stories of women who believed in their dreams and chose to follow their passion.

Through the course of 26 solid episodes, Halla Bol 2 will explore the trials and tribulations of women and illustrate how strength, belief and self-confidence go a long way. This season will showcase relevant issues such as women empowerment, gender inequality, family and social stereotypes and feature stories of women who have made their mark in a man’s world. The stories will be heroic and inspiring ones - from a young girl wanting to pursue male dominated sport like boxing to a pregnant woman who dared to walk out of an abusive marriage.

Talking about the new season  Vijay Subramaniam, VP, Content and Communications, Media Networks, Disney India, said, “With season one of Halla Bol,  we connected with young adults as their friend while inspiring them to bring about a change and they loved us for it. Through this season, we aim to reiterate Bindass’ commitment to motivate Indian youth towards purposive action and inspire women to follow their dreams.”

Reprising his role as the host, television personality Karan Tacker will take audiences through the inspiring journey of our women heroes. “I am extremely proud to be a part of a show that inspires women to stand up for their right. The response to the first season was truly heartwarming and I am confident that they will love the second season as well,” said Halla Bol Season 2 host, Karan Tacker.

The show starts on Sunday, 30th November at 6:00pm.
