BIG Magic Bihar and Jharkhand appoints Partha Dey as Programming Head

BIG MAGIC Bihar and Jharkhand announced the appointment of ParthaDey as its Creative and Programming Head. As part of his new portfolio, Dey will spearhead the programming mandate for the channel and will be responsible for building on consumer insights to create robust content while driving channel performance. Additionally,Partha will also assume the responsibility of designing the non-fiction content for BIG Magic(National channel).Dey will report to Lavneesh Gupta, COO, Television Business.

A documentary filmmaker by profession, ParthaDey has a distinguished career in broadcasting media having produced and directed documentaries, features and programming software for various agencies such as the Indian Air force, ARC RAW, IGNCA, OHM- Holland and Doordarshan. With over 17 years of experience as Producer, Director and Creative Director across organizations, Partha brings immense value and a treasure of experience to the channel. A commerce graduate, Partha joins the Company after an enriching six plus year stint at Mahuaa Media. As the Vice President – Network, Creatives and Operation at Mahuaa TV, Partha was instrumental in planning, designing and launching the three channels of the brand portfolio - Pragya, Mahuaa and Mahuaa Bangla.
