Big Magic & Big Magic Ganga strengthen distribution network with DD Free Dish

BIG Magic Ganga, the regional entertainment channel of Bihar, Jharkhand and Purvanchal and BIG Magic, have strengthened their distribution with India’s leading free to air digital Network - DD Free Dish. With DD Free Dish, BIG Magic and BIG Magic Ganga will now benefit with deep penetration across the rural regions of the country. This move will gradually fortify their position in the rural belt, making them easily available for discerning viewers. BIG Magic Ganga will be available on DD Free Dish Channel No. 16.

BARC now represents rural penetration as well, which is 49% of the entire HSM universe. Bihar & Jharkhand, which is the core belt for BIG Magic Ganga, now derives 57% viewership through the rural pool. Similarly, for BIG Magic, it would garner additional 50% viewership. Thus, the DD Free DISH association will help BIG Magic & BIG Magic Ganga to:

•   Amplify REACH by 50%, enabling highest penetration in rural India as compared to any other DTH platforms

•    Reach out to media dark areas

•   Gain in overall viewership by 75%
