Big CBS seals deal with Den Networks for 3 channels

Big CBS Networks, the joint venture between Reliance Broadcast Network and CBS Studios International, has sealed a distribution deal with DEN Networks to distribute three of its channels – Big CBS Prime, Big CBS Spark and Big CBS Love on its analogue and digital cable television platforms.

Commenting on this deal, Ashutosh, COO, Big Broadcasting, said, “We want to reach out to all our relevant audiences as we gear to offer India the latest, freshest and hottest entertainment that they have been this far deprived of. DEN’s strong presence among our relevant target audiences helps us take Big CBS’ reach deeper into the markets while giving their audiences the entertainment that they desire.”

SN, Sharma, President, DEN Networks, said, “We are delighted to announce our partnership with Big CBS Networks. The addition of the three new channels on our platform further strengthens our promise to deliver a wide variety of entertainment.”

Big CBS Prime, the first of the three channels, will be launched in November 2010, while the other two channels will follow suit in December 2010 (Big CBS Love) and February 2011 (Big CBS Spark).

Prior to this, Big CBS Networks had signed distribution deals with Big TV as well.
