BARC Ratings: Zee TV's 'KumkumBhagya’ tops charts in urban market

According to BARC Ratings for week 27 (2-8 July, 2016), Zee TV’s show ‘KumkumBhagya’ replaced Star Plus’ ‘YehHaiMohabbatein’ to acquire the top spot. Colors’ comedy show ‘Comedy Nights Live’ grabbed the second spot. Previous week’s top show ‘YehHaiMohhabatein’ slipped to the third spot. New entrant in the list, Star Plus’ dance reality show ‘Dance+ Season 2’ acquired fourth spot followed by Colors’ show ‘Kasam’.

Zee TV’s show ‘KumkumBhagya’ which was at No.2 in week 26 stepped up and became the most watched Hindi show in week 27. The show fetched 7545 impressions ‘000s which were 6622 impressions ‘000s in week 26.

Colors’ comedy show ‘Comedy Nights Live’ stood at No.2 with 7176 impressions ‘000s.

Star Plus’ show ‘YehHaiMohabbatein’ which was the top show previous week slipped to the third spot in week 27 with 6518 impressions ‘000s.The show had 6643 impressions ‘000s in week 26.

Star Plus’ new dance reality show ‘Dance + Season 2’ made an entry to the list at No.4 with 5915 impressions ‘000s.

Colors’ show ‘Kasam’ which was at No.8 in week 26 took a leap to the fifth spot in week 27 with 5734 impressions. The show had 5171 impressions ‘000s in the previous week.

‘SaathNibhanaSaathiya’ which airs on Star Plus slipped to the sixth spot from No.3 in week 27. The show which had 6245 impressions ‘000s in the previous week got 5693 impressions ‘000s in week 27.

Star Plus’ show ‘YehRishtaKyaKehlataHai’ stood at No.7 with 5467 impressions ‘000s in week 27. The show was at No.5 in the previous week with 5397 impressions ‘000s.

Sony SAB’s ‘Taarak Mehta KaOoltahChashmah’ which was at No.9 in the previous week climbed up to the eighth spot with 5382 impressions ‘000s. The show had 5147 impressions ‘000s in week 26.

Colors’ reality show ‘India’s Got Talent’ stood at No.9 with 5032 impressions ‘000s.

Comedy show ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ which airs on Sony Entertainment Television slipped to the tenth spot from seventh in week 27. The show got 4943 impressions ‘000s which were 5272 impressions ‘000s in the previous week.
