BARC Ratings: Star Plus regains top spot, Sony Pal stands at No.3 in week 17

In week 17 (23-29 April, 2016) of the BARC Ratings, Star Plus bounced back to the top spot after being pushed to the second spot by Colors in week 16. Colors slipped down to the second spot followed by Sony Pal at No.3 which replaced Zee TV to acquire this spot. Zee TV slipped down to No.4 whereas, Star Utsav acquired the fifth spot.

Star Plus, after being at No.2 for one week, bounced back to the No.1 spot with 692 million ratings which were 628 million in week 16.

Colors although garnered higher ratings of 679 million than the previous week’s 670 million, it slipped down to the second spot.

Sony Pal replaced Zee TV to acquire the third spot with 548 million ratings. The channel was at No.4 previous week with 531 million ratings.

Zee TV slipped down to the fourth spot with 533 million ratings, less than previous week’s 539 million ratings.

At No.5 stood Star Utsav with 482 million ratings. The channel was at No.8 in week 16 with 419 million ratings.

The sixth spot was acquired by Life OK with 478 million ratings which were 452 million in week 16.

Zee Anmol which was at No.5 in week 16 came down to the seventh spot with 474 million ratings. The channel had 513 million ratings in the previous week.

Rishtey  stood at No.8 with 411 million ratings which were 435 in week 16.

Sony SAB and Sony Entertainment Television remained at No.9 and No.10 respectively, like week 16. The former fetched almost the same ratings i.e, 359 million whereas, the latter garnered 347 million ratings, higher than previous week’s 278 million.
