BARC ratings: Kumkum Bhagya rises to No.2 with a large hike in ratings; Dance India Dance 5 rises to No.3 in its second week

In the Hindi GEC Universe the BARC ratings for week 27 (July 4 – 10, 2015) revealed the show Saath Nibhana Saathiya stayed on top as the rated show, followed by Kumkum Bhagya that rose to second place. However, Dance India Dance season 5 in its second week since its launch rose to take up the No.3 spot.

According to BARC data week 27 HSM NCCS All India markets for Prime Time (1800 – 2330 hours) C&S 1lakh+ (ratings in ‘000’s), Star Plus show Saath Nibhana Saathiya was on top this week despite a drop in ratings to 6166 from ratings of 6582 last week.

Zee TV’s show Kumkum Bhagya rose to No.3 spot with a rise in ratings to 5635 this week from 5135 last week. The show was on No.5 spot last week.

Dance India Dance season 5 on Zee TV in its second week did well to rise to No.3 spot registering ratings of 4962.

Colors show Chakravartin Askoka Samrat rose to No.4 spot this week with ratings of 4650.

Sasural Simar Ka on Colors dropped to No.5 spot with a large fall in ratings to 4595 this week from 5272 last week.
