Balaji’s Kitne Kool Hain Hum to premier on Zee TV today

In this sizzling summer apart from the soft drinks majors the TV channels are making efforts to be cooler than each other. Kitne Kool Hain Hum the newest comedy from the stable of Balaji Telefilms will debut on Zee TV today. It will be telecast from Mondays to Thursdays at 8 pm.

Kitne Kool Hain is billed as a rip roaring comedy and beat the heat created by the in laws versus out laws pulp dramas. After the popular sitcom Hum Paanch on Zee TV, Balaji is back with Kitne Cool Hain Hum and is promising non stop laughter and fun. This comedy is loosely based on Beverely Hillibies but has an Indian sense of humour. K Queen Ekta Kapoor is for the first time producing a comedy after Hum Paanch to attempt to gain her supremacy in comedy serials. And this time she wants to storm the Indian homes with her fun filled family saga. While sharing her views Ekta Kapoor said, "The unique quality of Kitne Kool Hain Hum is that it is a true blend of the rural & urban cultures. It shows how a family from Dhandhuka village moves to Mumbai and adapts itself to the modern life on the sheer basis of its confidence. Kitne Kool Hain Hum plays on the simplicity of life."

Kitne Kool Hain Hum is about a boisterous Gujarati family who were peacefully living in the village when suddenly inherited a huge property and other related liabilities in a metro city. What happens when the three brothers, their wives with their teenage children go berserk with their ideas of living happily together under one roof. Imagination is let loose and great funny events unspool within and outside the family. This honest to life Gujarati family is set to become the darling of the TV viewers in all the regions with its "real to life" characters.

Zee Network, Director - Marketing, Mr. Partha Sinha Koolly expressed "There is a dearth of comedy on Indian television. Kitne Kool Hain Hum is aimed to fill in that gap. Balaji Telefilms' last comedy show on Zee "Hum Paanch" was a big hit with the audience. Kitne Kool Hain Hum, in my view, is slated to break that record"

This new comedy features the Chapanaria family from Dhanduka village who are informed by a lawyer that will of late Champaklal Chapanaria entitled them to all the riches left behind by him in Mumbai. Now they have no choice but to leave the simple and uncomplicated village for the dream city. How do these simpletons from the rural backdrop cope up with the fast paced, mechanical, corrupt and a confused big bad city is also the underlying current of this multi track comedy.

Chapanaria family inheritor’s millions of rupees and that's not the solution their life undergoes through several confusion as the family members become more care free, lazy and irresponsible. It is the crazy ideas and the desi style, which makes this neo rich joint family interesting besides providing limitless entertainment. The diverse nature of Chapanaria family not only add to the confusion of their new found urban life but it also brings out the humane and emotional aspects of their lives. This unique Chapanaria family not only laughs at themselves but also create ripples in the viewers stomach through never ending family drama.

This new comedy showcases talented new comers besides Jaity Bhatia, Shoma Anand, Darshan Jhaveriwala and Anurag Prappana.
