BAG Films goes international with 'Yeh Vaada Rahha' for Dubai channel

BAG Films and Media Ltd has produced a show ‘Yeh Vaada Rahha’ for Dubai’s ARY Digital channel, which is being telecast in Pakistan, the UAE, the US and the UK. The programme has been on air since June 25. With this show, BAG Films has penetrated the overseas markets.

Anurradha Prasad, Managing Director, BAG Films and Media Ltd, said, “It has always been our vision to establish ourselves in the international arena, this show is the first step towards achieving the goal. We are confident that this show will provide us the required platform. We have more to offer in the future.”

‘Yeh Vaada Rahha’ is the story of two lovers, Sadia and Salman, who are torn apart by hatred shared by their fathers, which has kept the two families separate for years. Well-known Pakistani actress Maria Wasti plays the role of Sadia, while the role of Salman is being essayed by Raj Verma.


Kranti Gada joined the family business at Shemaroo in 2006 after a successful stint of over two years in marketing at Pepsi Co. She has been associated with the company for 12 years.
