Close on the heels of the I&B Ministry clearing the licence for its channels E24, Life24 and Bliss24, BAG Films & Media Ltd has now got the Ministry’s clearance for uplinking and downlinking of its upcoming news and current affairs channel, News24.

Commenting on the development, Anurradha Prasad, Managing Director, BAG Films & Media Ltd, said, “It has always been our vision to establish ourselves in the broadcasting arena, and this is yet another milestone in realising that vision.”

E24 and News24 channels are expected to go on air within the next two months. News24 would be under the banner of BAG Newsline Pvt. Ltd, which in turn would be under the Network24 umbrella.
