AXN brings a touch of magic with Cyril

AXN India is beefing up its summer vacation line-up with a new show featuring illusionist Cyril Takayama. Called ‘Cyril’s Family Vacation: Hawaii Edition’, the show premieres on June 17, 2012 at 8.30 PM.

Spread over six half-hour episode, the series will see illusionist Cyril Takayama show his personal side when he takes his family on a vacation. The illusionist returns to AXN after the earlier series ‘Simply Cyril’.

A release issued stated, “A departure from the traditional street magic series that established Cyril, ‘Cyril’s Family Vacation’ features a new and innovative way of magic storytelling and would test the limits of what is and what is not possible.”

As part of the promotional activities, Cyril Takayama will be performing stunts such as ‘hanging in air’ at Carter Road Promenade in Bandra, Mumbai on June 15, 2012 from 5.15 PM to 6.00 PM.

Cyril’s family is also said to have a little magic in their DNA, which they would be combining with charm and wit. The sorcerer-in-disguise will infiltrate popular vacation spots and common everyday places in and around Hawaii in order to bring onlookers a magical moment of wonder.
