Ashok Venkatramani quits as CEO ABP News Network

Ashok Venkatramani is moving on from  ABP News Network  in his role as CEO. Venkatramani. He  confirmed the news of his exit to exchange4media 

He was also elected as the new President of News Broadcasters Association at its ninth annual general meeting in September this year.  

“Ashok served ABP News Network (ANN )  well, and is going for better prospects. We wish him well” said D. D. Purkayastha MD &CEO at ABP Pvt Ltd commenting on the exit. 

“ We wish Ashok all the best, it has been an absolute pleasure working with him.” Said Avinash Pandey COO ANN. 

Venkatramani started his career with Unilever, having been with them for 19 years, working on the foods and personal care side of the business in sales, marketing and general mgmt roles. He was the Vice President and Business Head – Skincare for Unilever in India before moving into his role of CEO.  

He is a B. Tech from Bombay and has done his management post- graduation from Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad and Harvard Business School.
