Ashish Pandit exits Zee News as CEO

Ashish Pandit has exited Zee News in his role as CEO, confirm highly placed industry sources. Pandit had joined Zee News as CEO in September last year, replacing Samir Ahluwalia. Pandit joined ZEE News from Digicall Global endiing his three year stint.

Pandit, an alumnus of Delhi University has a telecom background with more than 26 years of experience. He is a senior professional with experience in healthcare and FMCG as well. He has worked with Tata Teleservices Limited as COO for Rajasthan and Haryana and was responsible for Sales, Product Management, Customer Service and Logistics. He has also held various senior management positions including CEO for Fortis Health World, Head of Operations for Reliance Webworld and Country Manager for Alcatel Mobile Phones, India.
