Arnab Goswami, President and Editor-in-Chief, Times Now has been invited to speak at an International media event in Moscow on the role of global media in a multi-polar world.
Goswami would be sharing the stage with top media executives from around the world including Margarita Simonyan, Editor-in-Chief, Global multilingual Television News Network; Patricia Villegas , President, teleSUR; Nigel Parsons ,CEO ,TVC News; Liu Ge ,Deputy Director ,CCTVNEWS; Sam Tomlinson ;Chairman,PwC’s global Media Industry Accounting Group.
The conference which is being organised to commemorate the 10th anniversary of launch of Russia Today will address the causes, benefits and challenges of the growing number of international news broadcasters, changes in audiences’ demands and expectation when it comes to news, and the role that different opinions play in creating checks and balances for a multipolar world.
Last year, Arnab Goswami, was invited to speak at a media conference for the House of Lords in London. He has also been invited to speak on issues concerning media and politics in India at various international forums including University of Oxford, University of Cambridge and King’s College London.
Goswami has led TIMES NOW to leadership in less than a year of launching the channel in 2006. Goswami is a post graduate in Social Anthropology from Oxford University, and has been a visiting fellow at Cambridge University's Department of International Relations.
