Anup Vishwanathan quits Times Network to join Sony TV as Marketing Head

Anup Vishwanathan has resigned from Times Network as the Marketing Head for the English Entertainment Cluster (Movies Now and Romedy Now) and will be joining Multi Screen Media (MSM)’s Sony Entertainment Television (Sony TV) according to sources. He will be joining in the role as VP Marketing of Sony TV and will be replacing Gaurav Seth who quit in July this year.

Vishwanathan joined Times Network last year in November from Leo Burnett where he worked for almost 8 years. At Leo Burnett he had worked on Sony TV’s Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC) campaign.

At Sony TV he will be reporting to Danish Khan who rejoined the channel as the Business Head on September 16. Vishwanathan was unavailable for a comment at the time of filing this report.
