Anil Singh quits Aaj Tak, joins News24

Aaj Tak’s Executive Editor, Anil Singh, has put in his papers at Aaj Tak, and will be joining News24, industry sources confirm.
Singh had joined Aaj Tak in 2013. Prior to that, he was Executive Editor at ABP News, where he was spearheading programmes such as ‘Kaun Banega Mukhyamantri’ (KBM) and other special projects of the channel.

Singh is an electronic news media veteran. He had joined the erstwhile Star News in 2005 when Uday Shankar was the Editor and CEO of Media Content & Communication Services (MCCS).

Singh has authored several books on India’s socio-political scenario and defence-related issues. 

The group released the Little Hearts online-only campaign, #BreakSomeHearts, early this year and is on the path to make many more of its brands available on the digital platform
