Anil Singh joins News 24 as Executive Editor

Last week exchange4media reported that Dr. Anil Singh had stepped down as Executive Editor of Aaj Tak after working with the news channel for around two years. In the latest development, Singh has joined News 24 and will report to Editor in Chief and MD, Anurradha Prasad.

In an internal mail, News 24 welcomed Anil Singh to the BAG Network as Executive Editor. 
Singh has been an electronic news journalist for more than 15 years, starting with Zee News back in 1999.  He was Executive Editor at STAR News (renamed as ABP News), and Aaj Tak.

He has authored several books on India’s socio-political and defence-related issues such as “India’s Security Concerns in the Indian Ocean Region”; “Insurgency in India: Internal Dimensions and External Linkages” and “Military and Media”.
In his new position, Singh will largely be responsible for adding focus and strong curation to the editorial functions at News24. He will also assist in shaping a sharp content strategy that will bring relevance to target audiences and enhance the brand.
