Amrita TV, which will be completing three years of operations in April 2008, has lined up a host of innovative and differentiated programmes as a build-up to its third anniversary celebrations.
These prime time properties include ‘Vanita Ratnam-2’, the sequel to the hugely successful reality show to discover the super mom; ‘Kumarasambhavam’, a mythological serial; and ‘Malgudi Days’, the classic from R K Narayanan, in Malayalam, exclusively on Amrita TV. ‘Best Citizen Journalist’, a unique reality show for non-journalists which recently went on air, will conclude in April.
Concurrently, to deliver incremental value to clients and intensify experiential engagement with audiences, Amrita TV has scheduled few live events in February and March, which include the grand finale of reality show ‘Super Dancer Junior’, ‘Amrita Film Awards Nite’, and the grand finale of another reality show ‘Super Star Global’.
Amrita TV has also recently beefed up its presence in the US by creating a network of reporters and content providers based in different cities in the US following a positive feedback from South Indian audiences in the US, who look for entertaining television fare that is family- and values-oriented.
