The week gone by witnessed some very major people movements. It also put the spotlight on the magic of IPL and how it is one of the most sought after brands in India today, the broadcast industry witnessed a significant development with major broadcasters out of empanelment list of DAVP due to dissatisfaction over ad rates. Also, there were several high profile developments, primarily at Ogilvy. Not only did Rajiv Rao announce his exit from the agency in order to pursue filmmaking but also, Sumanto Chattopadhyay was named Chairman and Chief Creative Officer of Soho Square, India. Speaking of Ogilvy, the agency also announced a major restructuring for new Integrated Creative Leadership by appointing six new Chief Creative Officers across regions in India. Sameer Nair quit as Balaji Telefilms Group CEO. Aarthi Subramanian was also appointed as Group Chief Digital Officer at Tata Sons:
