Times Internet partners with AIR for live Pepsi IPL commentary

Times Internet and All India Radio (AIR) have joined hands to broadcast live commentary of 33 select Pepsi IPL 2013 matches over AIR’s National Channel and FM Gold Network. Updates for all matches will be broadcast on AIR FM Rainbow Channel.

The running commentary of the matches of Pepsi IPL 2013, including the playoffs/ final, will be broadcast alternately in Hindi and English on the National Channel and FM Gold Network.

Commenting on the deal, Satyan Gajwani, CEO, Times Internet said, “We’re delighted to renew our association with AIR on Pepsi IPL. By partnering with All India Radio, Pepsi IPL 2013 will tap into a new set of cricket fan audiences across India, particularly beyond the metros.”

“All India Radio is happy to bring to its listeners across the country, live and exciting action from IPL, with several international cricket stars participating in this tournament,” said LD Mandloi, Director General, All India Radio.

The coverage area of National Channel includes Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Delhi, Goa, Haryana, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Manipur, Meghalaya, Orissa, Pondicherry, Tripura, Uttar Pradesh, Uttaranchal and parts of Assam, Maharashtra, Rajasthan and Tamil Nadu. The commentary is also available on the FM Gold network of All India Radio across Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai and Kolkata.

Periodic match updates of all IPL matches are available on FM Rainbow network of AIR in Bangalore, Chennai, Coimbatore, Cuttack, Delhi, Jalandhar, Kodaikanal, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Panaji and Tiruchirapalli.
