Thrissur and Jodhpur get FM stations in the week gone by

Mathrubhumi Group’s Club FM and Bhaskar Group’s My FM announced the launch of their stations in Thrissur and Jodhpur, respectively, over the last week. While this is the first radio station for Club FM, it is the 14th launch for My FM.

Club FM 94.3 FM sports the tagline ‘Ton kanakkinu fun’, meaning ‘Tonnes of fun’. The station kick-starts the day’s broadcast with ‘Good Morning’, a show providing positive tips and music. Other programmes include ‘Kalakkan Recharge’, ‘Bal-kkenni’, ‘Ladies Neram’, ‘Kabadi Kabadi’, ‘Clubmates’, ‘Love Bytes’, ‘Merry-go-round’, etc.

Bhaskar Group’s Fm venture, operating under the My FM brand name, launched its 14th radio station in Jodhpur last week. This was the Group’s fourth FM station in Rajasthan after Jaipur, Udaipur and Ajmer. The Group has three more launches planned after this – in Kota, Jabalpur and Raipur, which will complete its launch plans for all 17 circles that it has licence to operate in.
