Red FM has tied up with the Advertising Agencies Association of India (AAAI) as the associate sponsor for GoaFest, which will be held on April 29-30, 2006. The FM station expects the event to be an ideal platform to uncover its credentials of being a refreshed and revamped station to the advertising fraternity.
GoaFest will feature an innovative and interactive ‘Red Radio Shack’, where the nomination for awards pertaining to radio category will be aired. Participants can also listen, request and dedicate songs through the FM station.
Abraham Thomas, COO, Red FM, said, “The new Red was launched as the ‘Station of Expression’, which has helped the brand to connect with the audience and create a differentiated positioning for itself in the space. The attitude – Bajaate Raho – can be seen in every new initiative of the station, including the GoaFest.”
Among the other ‘off-air’ initiatives lined up by the station, is ‘Baajate Raho on the Beach’, which will be held on April 30. Under this initiative, Red FM’s RJs Simran, Mallishka and Sachin will be hosting a party for the GoaFest participants on the beach, where prizes will be given away to the first 100 people who hit the dance floor. Apart from this, there will be a bumper prize for a couple, who will be flown to the UK for a special spa treat.
