RED FM launches WhatsApp Ka Star

WhatsApp is synonymous with ‘messaging’ today, to keep in touch with friends and family alike. Taking this forward, 93.5 Red FM has tapped into the popular platform, a first for any radio station in Mumbai, to reach out to its listeners. Listeners can now get in touch with Red FM in Mumbai through WhatsApp on 9930935935.

Generic interaction with the radio station aside, to begin with, listeners can sing a line of their favourite song and WhatsApp on 9930935935, for an opportunity to be Red FM ka WhatsApp Star. Those with the best auditions will be featured on Red FM live.

Red FM has put up collaterals of the activity at several youth hangouts, and its RJ will also be visiting these to encourage people to participate.

Kranti Gada joined the family business at Shemaroo in 2006 after a successful stint of over two years in marketing at Pepsi Co. She has been associated with the company for 12 years.
