RED FM Bangalore re-launched the station with a host of new shows and new radio jockeys at a public venue at Forum Mall, Koramangla, on Saturday with the promise of delighting old listeners and roping in new ones.
The re-launch witnessed large crowds at the popular Mall, where RED FM set up a makeshift studio some 3-4 metres above the ground atop a hoarding on the Mall facade that read, ‘RED FM Hawa Mein’. The event was graced by local celebrities such as athlete Reeth Abraham and fashion guru Prasad Bidapa.
It was at this aerial studio that RED FM introduced its new set of RJs and shows which are now part of the station. The day saw all RJs air their shows from this unique studio set-up. The idea was based on a single line of communication: ‘Ab Bangalore Ki Hawa Mein Ek Hi Naam – 93.5 RED FM’.
As part of this revamp, RED FM introduced two new RJs – Tuhin and Zeishah, who will host two new shows – KA 935 and RED Adda, respectively.
RED FM had taken all RJs off air for one week in the build-up to this re-launch event, with a teaser communication of ‘RED FM Ki Hawa Badalne Waali Hai’.
On the occasion, Nisha Narayanan, COO, RED FM said, “We, at RED FM, have always believed in keeping the brand alive and kicking, and the product in tune with the times. The revamp and re-launch of RED FM Bengaluru is our endeavour to offer a sharper product. As a brand, innovation is at our core, and ‘RED FM Hawa Mein’ is an interesting way of launching our new RJ line-up with all of them going live from a hoarding and giving Bengalureans superhit Hindi music 24X7 in the times to come.”
