RAM Ratings: Radio City becomes no.2; Big FM retains top spot in Mumbai in week 38

According to RAM Ratings for week 38 (11-17 September, 2016) Big FM continued to lead despite a marginal decline in market share. Fever FM, Radio Mirchi and Radio City acquired top spots in Delhi, Kolkata and Bangalore markets respectively.

Mumbai

Big FM 92.7 continued to lead Mumbai with market share of 15.6 per cent and TSL of 5.22. Radio City featured at the second spot in week 38 with 13.7 per cent market share and 4.42 TSL.  Radio Mirchi slipped to third spot with 13.6 per cent market share and 4.19 TSL. Fever FM stood at no.4 in week 38 with 13.6 per cent market share and 6.17 TSL.  Red FM stayed at no.5 with 12 per cent market share and 4.04 TSL.

Delhi

Fever FM maintained its lead in the Delhi market with 17.9 per cent market share in week 38. But the station saw a dip in the TSL from 4.58 TSL in week 37 to 4.50 in week 38. Radio City remained at no.3 in Delhi market. The radio station got 10.5 per cent market share and 3.3 TSL. Radio Nasha stayed at no.4 with 10.4 per cent market share and 3.43 TSL. Red FM with a market share of 10.1 per cent and TSL of 3.05 stood at no. 5.

Kolkata

Radio Mirchi remained to be the most heard radio station of Kolkata though it saw a dip in the market share from 20.3 per cent in week 37 to 19.8 per cent in week 38 and TSL of 4.23. Big FM got 15.7 per cent market share and 5.05 TSL. Fever FM with 14.7 per cent market share and 5.4 TSL stood at no.3. Oye! FM, at no.4, garnered market share of 11.1 per cent and 4.13 TSL. Red FM with 9.1 per cent market share and 3.09 TSL remained at no.6.

Bangalore

Radio City fetched 23.4 per cent market share and 9.57 TSL.  Big FM garnered 20.8 per cent market share and 7.5 TSL and remained at no.2. Radio Mirchi with 18.1 per cent market share and 7.23 TSL stood at no.3. Fever FM remained at no.4 with improved market share of 13.9 per cent than previous week’s 13.4 per cent and 8.21 TSL. At no.5 stood Red FM with 5.6 per cent market share and 3.43 TSL.
