RAM Ratings: Radio City and Big FM tie in Mumbai; Fever FM leads in Delhi

RAM ratings for Week 44 show previous week’s leaders managing to hold on to their lead in their respective cities, except Mumbai which saw a change in the top position.

Mumbai

Radio City tied with Big FM in terms of market share, with both getting 17.6 per cent of the market. Big FM had a slightly higher TSL with 5.48 as opposed to Radio City’s 5.2. However, Radio City took the lead in Cumes (000’s) with  4714 as compared to Big FM’s 4349. Fever FM had 14.6 per cent of the market and a TSL of 6.43 while Radio Mirchi slipped a bit with 13.5 per cent market share and TSL of 4.12. Red FM had a TSL of 4.1 and market share of 10.9 followed by Radio One with 3.1 per cent market share and 2.1 TSL. Oye FM had a share of 2.9 per cent and a TSL of 2.46

Delhi

Fever FM continued to lead in the capital with a market share of 19.6 per cent followed by Radio Mirchi with 13.3 per cent share. Big FM was third with 13 per cent share and a TSL of 4.09. Radio City was next with 12.2 per cent share and a TSL of 3.35 followed by Red FM with 10.2 per cent share and 3.06 TSL. Oye Fm had a share of 6.7 per cent and a TSL of 2.43 followed by Radio One with 3 per cent share and a TSL of 1.42. Hit 95 FM had a share of 2.7 per cent and a TSL of 1.38

Kolkata

 Radio Mirchi had a share of 20 per cent and a TSL of 4.35, followed by Big FM with a share of 15.2 per cent and a TSL of 4.39. Fever FM had a share of 14.3 per cent and a TSL of 5.13. Oye FM had a share of 9.8 per cent and a TSL of 3.4, followed by Radio One with a share of 9 per cent and a TSL of 3.2 per cent, which was the same as Aamar FM, which had a share of 8.9 per cent. Red FM had a share of 7.8 per cent and a TSL of 2.49 followed by Friends FM and Power FM with 5.2 per cent and 2 per cent respectively.

Bangalore

Radio City lead in Bangalore with 23 per cent market share followed by Big Fm with 21.6 per cent share. This was followed by Radio Mirchi (16.8 per cent), Fever FM (13.7 per cent), Red FM (5.4 per cent), Radio One (3.9 per cent) and Radio Indigo (1.9 per cent). In terms of TSL, Radio City had the highest TSL of 9.51, followed by Big Fm with 8.37 and Fever FM with 8.2. This was followed by Radio Mirchi with 7.5
