RAM Ratings: Mumbai, Kolkata & Bangalore markets led by Big FM, Radio Mirchi & Radio City

In week 12 (13-19 March, 2016) of the RAM Ratings, Fever FM led the Delhi market also, Radio City replaces Big FM  to acquire the third spot in the market. Mumbai, Kolkata and Bangalore markets were led by Big FM, Radio Mirchi and Radio City respectively

Mumbai:

In the Mumbai market, Big FM remained the most heard radio station in the Mumbai market with 19.1 per cent market share which were 18 per cent and 6.38 TSL which were 6.46 in week 11. Radio City stood at No.2 with 16.1 per cent market share and 5.21 TSL. The radio station had 15.9 per cent market share and 5.16 TSL in the previous week. Fever FM stayed at No.3 with 14.5 per cent market share and 6.46 TSL. The radio station saw a dip in the market share from 14.6 per cent and TSL from 6.55. Radio Mirchi with 13.8 per cent market share, less than previous week’s 14.4 per cent and 4.1 TSL , also less than week 11’s 14.2, stood at No.4 . Red FM got 10.3 per cent market share and 3.59 TSL in week 12. The radio station had 11.6 per cent market share and 4.08 TSL in week 11.

Delhi:

Fever FM garnered 19.5 per cent market share; same as previous week and 5.02 TSL more than previous week’s  4.59 TSL and retained the top spot in the Delhi market. Radio Mirchi garnered 13.9 per cent market share and 3.23 TSL in week 12 which were 12.9 per cent and 3.17 in week 11 and stood at No.2. Radio City replaced Big FM to acquire the third spot with 11.9 per cent market share and 3.11 TSL. Radio City had 11 per cent market share and 3.14 TSL in week 11. Big FM saw a fall in the ratings and hence in the rank as it had 11.7 per cent market share which were 12.3 per cent  and 3.37 TSL which were 3.47 TSL. Red FM stood at No.5 with exactly same market share of 10.9 per cent and 2.59 TSL, slightly less than previous week’s 3 TSL.

Kolkata:

In the Kolkata market, Radio Mirchi became the most heard radio station with 18.8 per cent market share, more than previous week’s 18.3 per cent and 4.31 TSL, also more than previous week’s 4.27. Big FM stood at No.2 with 15.4 per cent market share and 5.33 TSL. The radio channel had 15.9 per cent market share and 5.25 TSL in week 11. Fever FM stood at No.3 with exactly the same market share of 15.4 per cent like week 11 and 5.33 TSL, less than week 11’s 5.44. Oye! FM stood at No.4 with 10.2 per cent market share, more than previous week’s 10.1 per cent and exactly the same TSL of 3.47. Aamar TV stood at No.5 with 8.8 per cent market share and 3.26 TSL.

Bangalore:

The Bangalore market was led by Radio City with 23.9 per cent market share, more than previous week’s 23.8 per cent and 10.15 TSL less than previous week’s 10.16. At No.2 stood Big FM with 20.1 per cent market share, higher than previous week’s 20 per cent and 8.02 TSL also higher than previous week’s 7.58 TSL. Radio Mirchi fetched 17.5 per cent market share which were 17 per cent in week 11 and 7.37 TSL which were 7.49 and stood at No.3. Fever FM with 13.9 per cent market share and 8.18 TSL stood at No.4. The radio station had 14.6 per cent market share and 8.43 TSL in the previous week. Radio One replaced Red FM to acquire the fifth spot with 4.6 per cent market share and 4.19 TSL. Red FM with 4.6 market share and 3.5 TSL stood at No.5.
