RAM Ratings: 92.7 BIG FM retains no.1 position in Mumbai in week 4

According to week 4 (17– 23 January 2016) of RAM Ratings, Big FM regained the No.1 position in Mumbai. Fever FM, Radio Mirchi and Radio City became the best radio stations in the Delhi, Kolkata and Bangalore markets respectively.

Mumbai:

Big FM garnered 18 per cent market share with 6 TSL and continued to lead the Mumbai market. The radio channel had 18.3 per cent market share and 6.11 TSL in week 3.  Radio City stood at No.2 with declined market share of 17.5 per cent which was 17.8 per cent in week 3 and 5.31 TSL which was 5.26 in week 3. At No.3 stood Fever FM with 15.4 per cent market share and the highest TSL in the Mumbai market of 6.51. The station had 15.3 per cent market share and 7.03 TSL. Radio Mirchi stood fourth in the market with 13.4 per cent market share and 4.07 TSL, which was 13.7 per cent and 4.24 TSL in the previous week. At No.5 stood Red FM with 10.3 per cent market share and 4.05 TSL. Oye! FM, at No.6, fetched 3.4 per cent market share and 3.1 TSL.

Delhi:

Fever FM led the Delhi market with 19.5 per cent market share and 4.48 TSL. The station had 19.3 market share and 4.55 TSL in week 3. Radio Mirchi stood at No.2 with 13.9 per cent market share and 3.28 TSL which was 13.4 and 3.28 respectively the week before. Radio City, at No.3, garnered 12.4 per cent market share, higher than previous week’s 12.1 per cent and 3.28 TSL, less than previous week’s 3.38 TSL. At No.4 stood Red FM replacing Big FM with 11.2 per cent market share and 3.02 TSL. The radio station saw a rise in the market share from 10.7 per cent and TSL from 2.56. Big FM saw a fall in market share from 11.8 per cent to 10.9 per cent and TSL from 3.38 to 3.16.

Kolkata:

Radio Mirchi became the most heard radio channel in Kolkata with 18.9 per cent market share and 4.25 TSL which was 18.7 per cent and 4.34 TSL in week 3. Big FM stood second with a rise in the ratings from 14.7 per cent to 16.1 per cent and 5.21 TSL to 5.38 TSL. Fever FM, at No.3, fetched 15.7 per cent market market share and 5.45 TSL. The radio station had 14.7 per cent market share and 5.13 TSL in week 3.  Oye! FM  saw a decline in the market share from 10.9 per cent to 9.9 per cent and TSL from 4.05 to 3.48. Aamar FM with 9.4 per cent market share and 3.52 TSL stood fifth.

Bangalore:

In Bangalore, Radio City continued to be the best radio station with a rise in the market share and TSL. It fetched 24.1 per cent market share and 10.29 TSL in week 4 which was 23.5 per cent and 10.18 in week 3. Big FM stood second in the region with a declined market share and TSL of 20.7 per cent from 21 per cent and 8.22 TSL from 8.32. Radio Mirchi, at No.3, garnered 16.7 per cent market share which was 17.1 per cent in week 3 and 7.28 TSL which was 8.08 in the week before. Fever FM stood fourth in the market with 13.7 per cent market share and 8.32 TSL. The channel had 14.3 per cent market share and 8.41 TSL in week 3. Red FM’s market share further declined from 5.2 TSL to 4.9 and TSL to 3.43.
