RAM Ratings:  Big FM continues edge over other radio channels in Mumbai market

In week 13 (20-26 March, 2016) of the RAM Ratings, Big FM remained the most heard radio station in the Mumbai market. The Delhi, Kolkata and Bangalore markets were led by Fever FM, Radio Mirchi and Radio City respectively.

Mumbai:

In the Mumbai market, Big FM remained the most heard radio station in the Mumbai market with 18.4 per cent market share, less than previous week’s 19.1 per cent market share and exactly same, 6.38 TSL. Radio City stood at No.2 with 16.7 per cent market share and 5.1 TSL which were 16.1 per cent market and 5.21 TSL in week 12. Fever FM stayed at No.3 with 14.1 per cent market share, less than previous week’s 14.5 per cent and 6.28 TSL also less than previous week’s 6.46 TSL. Radio Mirchi with exactly same market share like week 12 of 13.8 per cent and 4.13 TSL , more than week 12’s 14.1 , stood at No.4 . Red FM got 10.4 per cent market share and 3.39 TSL in week 13. The radio station had 10.3 per cent market share and 3.59 TSL in week 12.

Delhi:

Fever FM garnered 20.5 per cent market share, higher than previous week’s 19.5 per cent and 4.53 TSL, less than previous week’s 5.02 and retained the top spot in the Delhi market. Radio Mirchi garnered 12.7 per cent market share and 3.06 TSL in week 13 which were 13.9 per cent and 3.23 in week 12 and stood at No.2. Big FM replaced Radio City to acquire the third spot with 12.5 per cent market share and 3.31 TSL which were 11.7 per cent and 3.37 in week 12. Radio City fetched 12.1 per cent market share and 3.26 TSL and stood at No.4. Red FM stood at No.5 with market share of 11.4 per cent and 3.06 TSL.

 

Kolkata:

In the Kolkata market, Radio Mirchi became the most heard radio station with 19.2 per cent market share, higher than previous week’s 18.8 per cent market share, and 4.34 TSL, less than previous week’s 4.31 TSL. Fever FM replaced Big FM to acquire the second spot in week 13 with 15.4 per cent market share, exactly the same as previous week and 5.59 TSL, higher than previous week’s 5.33.Big FM stood at No.3 with 15.1 per cent market share and 4.56 TSL. Oye! FM stood at No.4 with 10 per cent market share, less than previous week’s 10.2 per cent, more and 3.37 TSL, less than previous week’s 3.47. Red FM stood at No.5 with 9.7 per cent market share and 3.13 TSL.

Bangalore:

The Bangalore market was led by Radio City with 24.2 per cent market share, higher than previous week’s 23.9 per cent and 10.08 TSL, less than previous week’s 10.15. At No.2 stood Big FM with 18.8 per cent market share, less than previous week’s 20.1 per and 7.37 TSL also less than previous week’s 8.02. Radio Mirchi fetched 17.4 per cent market share, 7.28 TSL and stood at No.3. The radio station had 17.5 per cent market share and 7.37 TSL in week 12. Fever FM with 14.6 per cent market share and 7.28 TSL stood at No.4. The radio station had 13.9 per cent market share and 8.18 TSL in week 12. Red FM replaced Radio One to acquire the to acquire the fifth spot with 5.1 per cent market share and 3.5 TSL.
