RAM rates Radio Mirchi’s ‘Hi Delhi’ as No. 1 programme

Radio Mirchi’s morning show ‘Hi Delhi’, hosted by RJs Anant and Saurabh, has been rated as No. 1 by RAM for the 25th Week. ‘Hi Delhi’ is a fun-based programme that looks at life in a tongue-in-cheek way, with mad antics by the show’s two RJs.

Commenting on the rating, Tapas Sen, Chief Programming officer, Radio Mirchi, said, “We are really happy about ‘Hi Delhi’ being rated as No. 1 by RAM for the 25th Week. RJs Anant and Saurabh are funny and witty, but not emotional people. Programming Head Sapna Rana is the person behind their characterisation. Anant and Saurabh have always been Delhi’s favourite RJs and listeners have been fascinated by their pranks, spoofs, wacky and lively tête-à-tête. They don’t just enliven Delhi’s morning drives, but also revitalise, setting a positive mood for the entire day.”

He further said, “Radio Mirchi will continue to have the madness quotient in it. We don’t have any plans to reinvent the show, but it is important to ensure that the show remains fresh throughout.”

The duo Anant and Saurabh are popularly known as ‘Kaanleva Virus’. Both had made a comeback on the show in May 2008.
