Radio City's Satyanarayana Murthy joins Radio Indigo as CEO

Private FM operator, Radio Indigo, has appointed Satyanarayana Murthy as CEO. Murthy was formerly the National Marketing Head at Radio City, a post he held for 6 years. He has been associated with the private radio FM industry for nearly 10 years, which includes a stint at Radio Mirchi. He quit Radio City in February this year.

Murthy confirmed the appointment to exchange4media. He will be heading the business for all verticals within India Business Ventures, the parent company of Radio Indigo, which includes, along with Radio Indigo, Indigo LIVE Music and Indigo LIVE Events.

A part of the Jupiter Capital group, Radio Indigo has operations in Bangalore and Goa and has bracketed itself in the international music niche.

Aside from his career in radio, Murthy has also worked with L&T, Bharat Shell and Adlabs Films.
