Music Broadcast Pvt Ltd (MBPL) has launched its sixth FM radio station in the country – Radio City 105.8 FM – in Chennai from July 10. The station was inaugurated by South superstar Surya.
Speaking on the occasion of the launch, Apurva Purohit, CEO, Radio City, said, “We are thrilled and proud to launch our station in Chennai. The launch of Radio City in Chennai is supported by a 360-degree marketing campaign. Some of the off-air initiatives to connect with listeners include road shows, Radio City booths at malls and multiplexes, on-ground contests and events.
Radio City Chennai’s programming is an outcome of an extensive and in-depth research undertaken by industry experts. This has resulted in a host of customised Tamil, English and Hindi programmes reflecting the true sound of Chennai. Radio City 105.8 FM will cater to the tastes of discerning music lovers cutting across a diverse population of students, housewives, working men, which will ultimately give advertisers great value for their money spent.
