Radio City back online after Pitampura fire incident

The fire at Pitampura TV Tower caused a breakdown in services of number of private FM channels. The services of Radio City Delhi were also disrupted. The network has hence come up with an alternative to give its listeners uninterrupted services.

After a disruption of one day, Radio City Delhi is back on planetradiocity. The station went live today on its web portal, ensuring its listeners can stay tuned in.

Ashit Kukian, President and COO, Radio City said, “Going live on planetradiocity demonstrates our commitment to our listeners. All the shows of Radio City Delhi can be enjoyed on our web radio.”

This further demonstrates how one can use digital to stay connected with the listeners.”

Taking stock
Services of Radio Mirchi in Delhi have still not resumed. The station is hoping to be back in action in three days time. 

Red FM is also temporarily shut. AIR FM Gold is not functional either.

It is business as usual for Fever, Oye, Radio One and Big FM, as these stations have not been affected by the fire.
