Radio City is out to tickle the grey cells of advertising professionals via a contents exclusively open to anyone working in advertising, media planning, buying agency as well as brand managers and marketing managers of Delhi. Starting from August 31, the contest will be on till September 18, and the winner can take home a brand new mini iPOD.
Jaideep Banerjee, Programming Head, Radio City 91 FM, New Delhi, said, “This contest is linked to the just announced consumer contest ‘City Bajao, Car Le Jao’ for Delhi NCR. Hence, it’s only for the Delhi market. With the success of the last promotion, where we got over 50 lakh SMSs, it was imperative for us to go beyond the huge listener base that we’ve got and reach out to people who have been as involved in contributing towards the success of our brand and sensitising them to the reach of our station. That’s the reason why we decided to do the contest.”
As part of the contest, Radio City will quiz the marketing minds on their knowledge of the Hit music station. The channel, however, is extremely clear that it is not a branding exercise.
Banerjee asserted, “The iPOD is a gift from Radio City. This is not entirely a branding exercise from our side. This is for the discerning radio audience who also happen to be our business partners, from a station which believes in playing Hit Music 24 hours a day.”
