MY FM to be launched in Jalandhar

MY FM is slowly and steadily making its foray in different cities. Close on the heels of launching its stations in Jaipur and Chandigarh, the radio venture of the Bhaskar Group is now looking at Jalandhar. Some of the other FM players already in this city are Radio Mirchi, BIG FM and Radio Mantra.

Sharing details about the programming mix, Viplove Gupte, National Programming Head, MY FM, said, “We are now consolidating our position in the state of Punjab with the launch of MY FM in Jalandhar. From now on, there will be an uninterrupted supply of music from Ambala to Chandigarh, all the way to Ludhiana. This is our second launch in two months, and we are excited to introduce a revolutionary concept called ‘Bol Jalandhar Bol’, where we intend to get more and more people on-air.”

Commenting on the new launch, Bhupinder Bhatti, Station Manager-MY FM, Jalandhar, said, “Every person in Jalandhar can truly call this station ‘my’ FM, because it is all about them — their songs, their opinions in their own voice. We hope to rock and touch people’s hearts with MY FM.”

The station will soon launch in the other 14 stations they won licenses of — Bhopal, Indore, Gwalior, Nagpur, Raipur, Jabalpur, Bilaspur, Jodhpur, Udaipur, Ajmer, Kota, Ahmedabad, Surat and Amritsar.
